ABOUT KC

K.C. Cromwell.jpg

KC Cromwell is a remarkable craftsman who transitioned from a distinguished career in the military to the pursuit of merging his love of woodwork with his training as an artist. After earning a degree in history, philosophy, and art from the University of Colorado, KC spent 20 years serving in the United States Army -- including a remarkable 15-year tenure as a Green Beret.

His journey into woodworking began during his deployments overseas, where he began sourcing exotic woods. Today, KC channels his passion into crafting exquisite wood bowls and home goods, each piece meticulously handcrafted to reveal the inherent beauty of its source. His home studio, nestled in the mountains of western Virginia, is where these unique creations come to life.

KC's work is available for sale at Hazel River Arts & Antiques in Washington and the Old Town Farmer's Market in Alexandria as well as online.
